The Greene County Board of Supervisors met in regular session Monday morning.
At the meeting the board heard a monthly update on projects and events in Jefferson from City Administrator Mike Palmer, approved a mental health therapy services contract with Lisa Turner, and approved the hiring of Shane Allen as a full time Deputy Sheriff.
The board also approved the recorder and treasurer’s reports for the month of May, approved a fireworks permit for Jack Williams and canvassed the primary election results, making the party nominations official.
The next meeting is scheduled for Monday at 8:30am.
