Friday Fests kick off this week in Perry.
The summer tradition continues at the Pattee Park each month this summer and tonight’s event features Perry’s own Rukkus. The cover band was founded back in the 70s and features Mark Einck, Jim Wuebker, Joel Wilson, Dana Keenan and Ben Einck. Also performing is the Bluejay Choir, made up of Perry students.
The events are BYOB – meaning bring your own basket full of snacks and beverages. There will also be local vendors at the park selling items as well.
This year’s events include an expanded inflatables area for the kids along with outdoor kid friendly movies.
All community members are invited to come enjoy the free events. The other two Friday Fests will be held June 20th and August 17th.
