06/18 At 2:58 pm, a deputy assisted Jefferson police with a domestic dispute
At 4:40 pm, Brittany K. Smith, 24, of Bagley was booked into the county jail after an arrest by Jefferson police for Domestic Abuse-Assault, later released O/R by magistrate
At 4:40 pm, Mitchell K. Venteicher, 27, of Jefferson was booked into the county jail after an arrest by Jefferson police for Domestic Abuse-Assault 2nd offense, later released O/R by magistrate
At 4:30 pm, a deputy checked a residential alarm in the 200 Block of H Avenue
At 8:57 pm, a deputy checked the report of a dog running at large in Scranton but could not locate it
At 9:00 pm, a deputy checked on a child custody dispute in Churdan
At 11:10 pm, a deputy checked careless driving eastbound 220th from Scranton but did not locate any violators
At 11:23 pm, a deputy assisted Jefferson police with a domestic dispute
06/19 At 12:30 am, Ann M. Sayre, 52, of Jefferson was booked into the county jail after an arrest by Jefferson police for Domestic Abuse-Assault, later released O/R by magistrate
At 10:10 am, a deputy investigated a reported theft by credit card purchases in Grand Junction but it was civil in nature due to the parties being married
At 1:16 pm, a deputy was advised of careless driving eastbound 170th from Dana but was not in position to check it
At 2:25 pm, a deputy was advised of careless driving that occurred on 05/24 between Jefferson and Grand Junction, unknown why it was a month before being reported
At 3:15 pm, Dustin D. Hill, 19, of Carroll was booked into the county jail after an arrest and transport by a deputy from Carroll on a warrant for Probation Violation-Original charge of Burglary 3rd and Unlawful use of a Credit Card, remains held
At 4:00 pm, Tanya C. Maldonado, 35, of Panora was booked into the county jail after an arrest by Jefferson police for Theft 5th Degree, booked and released O/R per magistrate
At 4:57 pm, a deputy was advised of a road hazard in the 200 Block of Q Avenue, secondary roads was notified
At 5:25 pm, a deputy investigated a possible theft through a tax return in Scranton
At 8:15 pm, a deputy checked the report of two raccoons in the doorway of the Post Office in Grand Junction; deputy caught one and took it to a wooded location but the other got away
At 8:39 pm, a deputy investigated the burglary to a garage in Scranton
06/20 At 12:05 am, a deputy located a subject who was out past their curfew and sent them home
At 9:00 am, a deputy investigated a hit & run crash east of the Tree Park on the eastside of Grand Junction, a tree and bush were damaged
At 9:30 am, a deputy checked illegal parking in Grand unction
At 2:34 pm, a deputy investigated the theft of a bicycle in Grand Junction
At 6:00 pm, a deputy investigated a domestic dispute in the 900 Block of X Avenue
06/21 At 5:27 pm, a deputy checked careless driving westbound 220th from Boone County but the vehicle pulled off in Grand Junction
At 5:51 pm, a deputy conducted a welfare check in the 1400 Block of 265th Street
At 6:10 pm, a deputy investigated a criminal mischief complaint in the 2100 Block of Neola Avenue that was found to be civil matter
At 6:19 pm, a deputy checked the report of subjects in the 700 Block of D Avenue who were selling Kirby vacuum cleaners and hand cleaner but did not locate them
At 7:14 pm, a deputy checked the report of kids playing on top of the overpass in Scranton but they had left the area
At 8:20 pm, a deputy checked the report of an underage alcohol party in Rippey but the house location given was vacant
At 6:50 pm, James R. Eltrich, 19, of Scranton was booked into the county jail serving an OWI 1st sentence
At 10:21 pm, a deputy checked the report of kids smoking outside the Laundromat in Grand Junction
06/22 At 5:50 am, a deputy checked the report of a horse out near Eaton Avenue and 110th Street but it was not located
At 8:21 am, a deputy picked up an abandoned bicycle in Scranton and placed it in the LEC impound area
At 9:21 am, a deputy checked an alarm in the 300 Block of 240th Street that was false
At 1:10 pm, a deputy assisted with a child custody matter in Grand Junction as the calling party had a court order to take custody of children
At 1:10 pm, a deputy was advised of careless driving westbound 220th from Boone County but was busy with the previous call
At 1:18 pm, a deputy checked the report of a subject slumped over the steering wheel of a semi near N Avenue and 120th Street and found the driver was sleeping
At 5:07 pm, a deputy investigated a minor property damage crash at 220th and Eaton; subject lost the wheel off his truck
At 8:19 pm, deputies investigated a personal injury crash near 245th and K Avenue, the crash remains under investigation along with charges
At 8:27 pm, a deputy investigated a domestic dispute in Scranton and made one arrest
At 9:33 pm, Chad L. Marsh, 25, of Scranton was booked into the county jail after an arrest by a deputy for Domestic Abuse-Assault-Simple, later released O/R by magistrate
At 10:46 pm, a K9 deputy and Ranger assisted Jefferson police with tracking a subject who had reportedly exposed himself to others
06/23 At 12:03 am, a deputy checked the report of a subject walking along 220th near the Boone County line, subject was walking to Grand Junction
At 1:25 pm, a deputy checked an unattended vehicle near 220th and D Avenue
At 5:10 pm, a deputy checked the report of a dog running at large in Dana but it was not located
At 6:40 pm, a deputy investigated the theft of lumber from an old building in Grand Junction but the subjects had permission to remove it
At 9:02 pm, a deputy warned a parent and child about riding their bikes on railroad property at Scranton
At 9:43 pm, a deputy checked careless driving westbound 220th from M Avenue but no violations were noted
At 10:29 pm, a deputy checked careless driving eastbound 230th from S Avenue and warned the subject
At 11:51 pm, a deputy checked the report of a subject yelling at people near the school in Grand Junction, subject was located and warned
06/24 At 1:01 am, a deputy stopped a vehicle near 220th and 16th Street in Grand Junction and arrested Brian A. Moreland, 32, of DSM for OWI 2nd, Speeding and Driving on the Wrong Side of the Highway, remains held
At 1:23 am, a deputy checked the report of a suspicious subject walking in Dana but they were not located
At 7:50 am, a deputy investigated a missing persons report in Rippey, after further checking the person was found in a shelter in DSM
At 10:03 am, a deputy checked a vehicle parked at Brown’s Access for several days and found out that the subject was fishing the river
At 4:04 pm, a deputy investigated a harassment complaint in Grand Junction
At 4:04 pm, a deputy checked careless driving westbound 220th from Grand Junction, vehicle was located by Jefferson police and driver warned
At 5:15 pm, a deputy checked careless driving in Rippey
At 7:44 pm, a deputy checked an alarm in the 1800 Block of 205th Street that was false
At 9:32 pm, a deputy checked the report of s suspicious subject in Dana but they were not located
In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
