The Dallas County Hospital is offering a Pediatric Heartsaver CPR/First Aid class next month.
New or expectant parents, daycare workers or anyone who helps take care of children are encouraged to attend. The course will teach participants how to perform CPR and rescue breathing, remove a foreign object from a child and use an automated external defibrillator.
The cost to attend is $65 per person for the initial certification and $50 for a renewal. The class takes place Saturday July 14th from 1-5:30pm in the hospital’s community room.
