The City of Perry “closed the books” on the 2011-2012 fiscal year during a special meeting Wednesday afternoon.
1st ward Councilman Phil Stone says things turned out well.
“We didn’t have to move much money around to make sure that the books balanced and we’re in the black, so considering some of the challenges we’ve had financially, that’s a plus also” says Stone.
The new fiscal year starts July 1st
