The Perry City Council will not meet this week as usual. Typically, meetings are held the first and third Monday of each month, though there will be no meeting on July 2nd due to the Independence Day holiday. The next regular meeting will take place July 16th at 6pm.
In addition, Perry city offices, the public library, the McCreary Community Building and the water works office will all be closed on Wednesday for the 4th of July. There’s no change in the garbage and recycling collection schedule, though there will be no yard waste pick up Wednesday. The yard waste collection schedule resumes the following week with the south side of Willis being picked up on July 11th and the north side pick on July 18th.
