The Adair County Historical Society is hosting their third annual tractor ride this Independence Day.

The event starts with breakfast at the Heritage Center on the west edge of Greenfield at 7am Wednesday.  Riders will leave at 7:45am and travel to the Bob Queck farm west of Orient where they’ll enjoy refreshments and view an antique machinery exhibit.

Tractors will then continue to Fontanelle in time for the parade at 10am.

Registration forms can be picked up at various locations in the community or you can sign up the morning of the ride.

The cost is $10 and includes breakfast, mid-morning refreshments and a souvenir.

For more information you can contact the historical society at 641-743-2232.
