The Perry Community School District is working on several building projects this summer.  Buildings and Grounds Director Kevin McLaughlin gave the school board an update at Monday’s meeting.  Among the projects being worked on currently are heat pump replacements in the pre-k, kindergarten and 1st grade area of the elementary school, upgrades to the elementary school fire alarm system, a new roof on the middle school library and partial carpet replacement at the high school.

He says once the projects are completed, things will be looking and working well in the district and thanked the school board for moving the improvements forward.

Superintendent Lynn Ubben agrees and says things are definitely moving in the right direction.
