The Iowa Department of Economic Development is in Woodward this week.

Individuals from the department are conducting an assessment of the downtown area, noting observations and recommendations for the City’s business district.  While touring the area, the group is visiting with community members, business people, city officials and representatives of community groups.

Following the two-day tour, a community meeting will be held to inform the community of their recommendations for improvement Thursday evening. All community members are invited and encouraged to attend.
