The Perry Public Library is hosting author Marjorie Gibson McCarthy this weekend.

The Iowa Native currently teaches in Arizona where she lives with her family. McCarthy will speak with attendees about her first book No Matter What this Saturday.  The book tells the story of an Iowa woman and her best friend who travel to Hollywood to try and reconnect with a man she hasn’t seen in fourteen years.

The event takes place from 2-3:30pm Saturday at the Perry Public Library.  It is free and open to the public.
