The Dallas County Family Development Center is collecting donations for their annual Back to School Drive.

Boxes have been set up at Alco, Dollar General and Ben Franklin along with the family development center office in Perry.  Items needed include bags, pencil boxes, erasers, glue sticks, 3 ring binders, red pens, crayons, markers and folders.  Cash donations will also be accepted as well.

Coordinator Heather Bach says they usually serve about 90 kids in the Perry area through these donations.  Anyone who has questions or is interested in having a drop off box or sign at their location should call 465-5185 or email hbach@newopporg.
