A service for Tony Wayne Paschell was held 10:00a.m. Saturday, July 28, 2012
at Hastings Funeral Home in Perry, Iowa. Visitation was Friday July 27, 2012
from 6-8 at the funeral home. Words of Comfort were done by Pastor Ken
Ahntholz of Bouton, IA. Tony’s Honorary Casket Bearers were:Izac Kinkennon,
Emily Selsor, Jocelyn Kovaleski, Jeff and Mike Paschell. Casket Bearers: His son
Chad Kinkennon, Talyon Kinkennon, Dustin Wilkinson, Mark Paschell, Jon and
Jesse James. “Yesterday” and “I’ve Always Been Crazy” were the songs played
at Tony’s service. Following Interment at Violet Hill Cemetery in Perry was a
Celebration Of Life at Lake Robbins Ballroom in Woodward.Tony Wayne
Paschell, son of Walter Paschell and Doris Lucille Bartlett Paschell, was born
January 14, 1957 in Perry, Iowa and died July 25, 2012 at Methodist Hospital in
Des Moines at the age of 55. Tony grew up in Perry and attended school in
Minburn and Perry. After high school he attended DMACC where he got a
degree in Auto Body. Tony was blessed with one son Chad Kinkennon.
Throughout the years following college Tony worked at Earl Schieb in Creston,
Iowa, Hunnicutt Real Estate Appraisal, then on to Mississippi with them. Tony
moved back to Iowa where he started farming for Don Allen, and then he got a
job at Osmundsons in Perry where he worked for 22 years. After Tony left
Osmundsons he helped his family at Lake Robbins Ballroom doing handy work.
Tony loved working on cars and trucks especially his ’67 GTO which he entered
in parades. He enjoyed woodworking and he was always helping friends and
family out. Tony was a very talented man who could fix just about anything. He
kept Lake Robbins going many times by creating sandwiches and promoting the
Ballroom. He was a good cook and had a secret recipe for his great chili. Tony is
preceded in death by his parents Walter and Doris Paschell. Tony is survived by
his son Chad Kinkennon (Marion) of Lincoln, NE; Brothers Walt “BJ” Paschell
(Linda) of Osceola, IA, Jan Paschell (Dee) of Bouton, IA, and King Paschell of
Bouton, IA; Sisters: Le James (Bob) of Bouton, IA and Lyn Wilkinson of Bouton,
IA; Aunt Joyce Bartlett of Portland, OR; Three grandchildren: Talyon, Izac, and
Braxton Kinkennon of Lincoln, NE; Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
