A Greene County summer tradition favorite is happening this week in Jefferson.

The Hot August Night takes place Thursday on the Bell Tower square.  It’s a car, truck, tractor and bike show.

Along with the vehicles on display there will be free watermelon and other food available for purchase, along with live entertainment, plus shops on the square will be open for business as well.

The largest car club in attendance will receive a $200 prize, the first 200 registrations will receive a free t-shirt and people’s choice awards will be handed out too.
