All area residents are invited to join in a memorial tractor ride in honor of Gary McDonald next week.
Gary was very active in the antique tractor world before passing away from cancer in 2011. A group of friends and relatives are organizing an event in his memory on August 18th.
The ride starts at MacDonald Insurance in Scranton at 9am that Saturday. Participating tractors should be from 1970 or before.
The tractors will head toward the Greenbrier Church for refreshments by the local Kendrick Generic Bunch 4-H club before enjoying lunch at Spring Brook Park. The afternoon will lead them to Hunter Farms for another refreshment break and the ride is expected to conclude in Scranton around 4pm.
