Traditional rivals A-D-M and Dallas Center Grimes meet Friday night at D-C-G in the opener for both teams in the 2012 football season.

Normally a district game, the two rivals have been seperated into different districts in Class 3A for 2012. The Tigers, coming off an outstanding 12-1 season in 2011, have moved to District 1 which includes Perry, Atlantic, Creston, Harlan, Glenwood and Lewis Central. The Mustangs have been placed in District 4 with Ballard, Boone, Newton, Saydel, Grinnell and South Tama.

On thier way to a 9-0 regular season in 2011, The Tigers defeated the Mustangs 41-14 on September 16th. Kickoff is set for 7:30 Friday night at Dallas Center Grimes.
