Yesterday, the Lady Tigers Volleyball team went 3-2 in a touranment held at Newton High School.

A-D-M defeated Knoxville by scores of 21-19 & 21-8. Lost to Oskaloosa 17-21, 21-16 & 12-15, lost to Dowling 12-21 & 13-21 but then rebounded to beat Newton 22-20 & 23-21 and then knocked off Carlisle 21- & 21-19. For the night the lady Tigers finished 7-4 in total game scores.

“I though we palyed up & down all night,” said head coach Mary Beth Scott. “Our passes need to be tighter and then our sets need to be as well. We have young players in our setting position and it will take some time to get them up to speed.”

Next up for the Lady Tigers is a match Thursday night at Dallas Center Grimes.
