After a stellar 2011 campaign which saw the Tigers reach the final four, the 2012 edition of the A-D-M football team will rely heavily on their offensive line which returns 4 of the 5 starters.

“We had a great year last year,” said Tiger Head Coach Mike Whisner. “We’ll focus on running the football but we’ll still spread teams out and run or throw out of the shotgun.”

Asked about thier opponnent for Friday nights opener, Coach Whisner had nothing but respect for the DC-G Mustangs, “They lost alot of close games last year but have very good athletes as witnessed by their baseball team winning the State Championship. It’ll be a rough game,” he continued, “They circled their calendars for this one, we’ll have to be prepared.”

Senior Quarterback Kyle Herrick replaces All-State standout Gavin Glenn at the controls of the Tiger offense. “Kyle was 7-1 leading the JV last year so he’ll be ready to go,” finished Coach Whisner.

Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 at DC-G.
