The Perry swim team dropped a pair of non conference duals Thursday night losing to Des Moines Lincoln 64-29 and Algona 49-45.    Perry had a number of strong season opening performances on the night.  Shaleah Ewing had a pair of first place finishes in the 200 free and 200 IM and Laura Fineseth took 1st in two events as well.  Serenity Ewing was first in the 100.  Sierra Gliem took 3rd in the 200 freestyle while Miah York looked strong in the 200.  Haley Kenyon was second in the 50.  Perry will have a chance to get Algona back as the Jayettes travel to Boone September 4th for a double dual with Boone and Algona.
