The Jefferson City Council will meet in regular session Tuesday.

Items on the agenda include approval of a contract, performance and payment bonds for the 2012 ACC Vine Street overlay project, approval of Kelso Park shelter roof repair, consideration of building improvements at the Community Center and approval of purchase of Neighborhood Stabilization Property at 808 West Harrison Street.

Other agenda items include approval of an agreement for asbestos removal at City Hall, approval of a site monitoring and chemical injection contract for the former Warin Oil site and setting a public meeting in regards to the proposed quiet zone.

The council will also consider relocation of a light base column on the downtown square project, appoint a police captain, consider approval of a contract for water line replacement on High Street between Monroe and Harrison Streets and approve the first reading of an ordinance amending spring and fall pickup of bulky rubbish.

The meeting takes place at 5:30pm in the council chambers of the Jefferson City Hall.
