Three young adults in Guthrie County have been arrested for drug charges after a multi-month investigation.
The Guthrie County Sheriff’s Office, along with their reserve program, the Panora Police Department and Guthrie Center Police Department executed a search warrant at 800 State Street, apartment #12 in Guthrie Center earlier this month.
During the search, law enforcement confiscated approximately 13 grams of methamphetamine, 3 grams of marijuana, 25 prescription pills, multiple pieces of drug paraphernalia and $668.
As a result, 24 year-old Andy Alejandro Perez who lives in the Guthrie Center apartment, has been charged with two felonies and two misdemeanors along with conspiracy to deliver methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, keeping a place for possessing controlled substances and possession of drug paraphernalia.
His roommate, 23 year-old Zachary Allen Thomas faces five felonies and six misdemeanor charges including the same charges as Perez, along with delivery of marijuana, failure to affix a drug tax stamp, possession with intent to deliver Xanax, possession of marijuana and possession of Adderall.
21 year-old Jimmy Dick Junior of Panora has also been charged with possession of methamphetamine, second offense.
Perez and Thomas both remain in the Guthrie County Jail on $100,000 bond. Dick was released on bond and is awaiting his court date.
