Paton-Churdan opens both the Rolling Hills Activities Conference and home volleyball seasons in Churdan tonight (Tues.) when they host Ankeny Christian Academy. The Rockets opened the regular season last week with a 3-2 road victory in Burnside vs. Southeast Webster-Grand, followed by a 1-3 match record and 3-6 game mark on Aug. 25 at the Coon Rapids-Bayard tournament. Entering the action vs. ACA the Rockets are 2-3 in matches and 6-8 in games. ACA is the only team the Rockets defeated at the CR-B tournament.
