Newcomer Bondurant Farrar captured the Raccoon River Conference volleyball title last season making a smooth transition from the Heart of Iowa Conference.  However, this year’s Raccoon River Conference race might be a little tighter.  Perry Volleyball head coach Carol Van Kirk is anticipating possibly 4 or 5 teams with a good shot to win it, including her Jayettes.

“I think it will be changed this year.  Bondurant lost quite a few seniors so I think it is going to be wide open.  Both ADM and Boone have a lot of returning players and should be in the mix, but I really think it could be anybody’s conference championship this year and we definitely have our eye on that.”

Perry will return to action Thursday at the ADM Invite with the first conference match scheduled for next Tuesday at ADM.
