The Paton-Churdan Rockets were Rolling Hills Activities Conference high school volleyball winners in Churdan on August 30 over CAM (Anita) in three games. Scores were 25-18, 26-24, 26-24, in the first conference match of the season for both teams. P-C improved to 4-3 overall with the victory.

Senior Brianne Gerwulf had nine kills on the night and senior Abby Koch added five kills. Gerwulf also went 14 for 14 serving and freshman Sydney Koch was 10 for 10 at the service line.
