Former Perry athlete Kane Seeley found out late last week that he will redshirt this upcoming 2012-2013 season at Iowa State.  Cyclone Head Coach Paul Rhodes  informed Seeley that he would redshirt with all of the other incoming scholarship freshmen.  This is the first time in 4 years that Coach Rhodes has had the luxury to redshirt everyone that was recruited by Iowa State.  Seeley and the rest of the Cyclones will now get 5 years to get their degrees and grow and mature to learn the Cyclone system.  Iowa State defeated Tulsa in the season opener Saturday night, and now get ready for a trip to Iowa City this Saturday.
