On Tuesday, September 4th, the West Central Valley volleyball team recorded their first conference win of the 2012 season when they defeated Panorama in three sets at home by scores of 25-17, 25-14, 25-21. Sophomore Outside Hitter Bailee Arnburg reached double-digits in kills and digs with 10 kills on 22 attempts, 10 digs, and was 11 for 13 serving with 2 aces. Senior Setter Nicole Chafa had 25 assists with 5 digs and was 12 of 15 from the service line with 3 aces. Two other seniors were big contributors as Outside Hitter Anna Hayes had 4 kills on 13 attempts and Libero Allie Fillman was a defensive gem with 19 digs and she was perfect serving 12 for 12 and had 4 aces. The Wildcats hit .333 as a team and were 85% in their serves.
West Central Valley’s next match will be on Thursday, September 6th, as they host I-35.
