The Greene County Rams host the Roland-Story (Story City) Norsemen in Heart of Iowa Activities Conference volleyball in the middle school gym in Jefferson tonight. The freshmen and JV teams meet at 5 p.m. with the varsity match to follow. The two varsity teams have nearly identical records as the Rams are 3-0 in the league and 6-3 overall while R-S is 1-1 in the conference and 6-4 overall. The conference loss by the Norsemen is to Nevada, ranked third in Class 3A, while the Rams won’t meet the Cubs until later in the season. Tonight’s winner stays at or near the top of the conference leader board.
