Perry sophomore quarterback Will Whiton has been nominated for this week’s Radio Iowa 3A player of the week.  Whiton had a huge night Friday engineering Perry past Glenwood 35-7.  The young sophomore threw for three touchdowns and rushed for 2 more.  Plus he intercepted two passes setting Bluejay scores.  Whiton finished 9-16 for 164 yards and 3 touchdowns, plus he ran for a career high 160 yards on 22 carries.  Perry is now 2-2 on the season and will host Creston this Friday night at Dewey Field.
