Prairie Valley (Gowrie) was a winner in three games over Paton-Churdan in non-conference volleyball on Sept. 18 in Churdan. Scores were 25-13, 25-23, 25-17. PV is a member of the Twin Lakes Conference while P-C belongs to the Rolling Hills Activities Conference. Both teams’ head coaches are in their first seasons with their respective programs. Chris Heisterkamp of Jefferson, a former assistant coach at Jefferson-Scranton, is the head coach of PV. Hannah Boehmer is the coach of the Rockets.
