The Perry Jayette swim team defeated Des Moines East last night 107-65.  Perry had 7 personal best times along with winning 7 of 11 events.  Some of the highlights for Perry included the 200 medley relay with Serenity Ewing, Shaleah Ewing, Haley Kenyon and Laura Finneseth finishing first, while Taylor Wieland, Erica Tenold, Andrea Kirk and Sabrina Nicholaisen 3rd.  Miah York won the 200 freestyle with Ashley Landals 4th.  The 200 IM saw Perry go second and third as Shaleah Ewing and Laura Finneseth paced the Jayettes.  Haley Kenyon set a personal best time in winning the 50 freestyle.  Perry’s next meet will be October 2nd at Grinnell.
