Relay for Life of Northern Dallas County is hosting a special fundraiser next month to raise money in honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
The Crop for Life event takes place October 20th at the National Guard Armory in Perry. Participants will spend 12 hours scrapbooking, mingling with friends, enjoying food and winning door prizes while raising money for a good cause.
The cost to participate is $40 which includes a soup and sandwich lunch, pizza supper, drinks and a goodie bag. Each scrapbooker will have access to their own table and an outlet for tools.
The event will be held from 9am-9pm Saturday October 20th. Checks can be made out to the American Cancer Society and mailed to the Perry Public Library in care of Suzanne Kestel. Anyone with questions can email SKestel@Perry.lib.ia.us.
