The Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union released regional volleyball pairings late last week and both Greene County teams will open on the road. The Greene County Rams start Class 3A Region 2 action at number 10 East Sac County in Wall Lake on Monday, Oct. 22 at 7 p.m. The winner meets either Roland-Story (Story City) or South Central Calhoun (Lake City) in the second round in Lake View on Oct. 25 at 7 p.m.

Paton-Churdan is in 1A Region 4 and the Rockets face Southeast Webster-Grand (Burnside) at 7 p.m. in Burnside on Tuesday, Oct. 16. The winners faces Glidden-Ralston in Glidden at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 23.
