Bryan Garcia of Des Moines, was traveling east on 347th when his rear side tire blew out causing him to enter the south ditch. As he did he clipped guide wires of a power pole snapping it off at the top. No injuries reported. Damage to the vehicles estimated at $3000.00 and $2000.00 to the power pole.
Valerie Elizabeth Auen, age 47 of 806 North St., Perry was arrested on a warrant for driving under revocation.
Gary Tyer of the Edgetowner Motel, 804 Guthrie St., De Soto reported that someone destroyed the microwave in the vending area of the hotel.
