Paton-Churdan finished the Rolling Hills Activities Conference volleyball season with a loss in three sets to Orient-Macksburg in Churdan on Oct. 9. Scores were 20-25, 24-26, 24-26, as the Rockets finished 2-6 in league play after starting 2-0. The match was also the final one at home this season for P-C.

Head coach Hannah Boehmer said of the match, “We’ve improved, but tonight we just couldn’t get those points when we needed them to win.”

The RHAC tournament in Elk Horn is on Thursday, Oct. 11 and Class 1A Regional tournament action starts on Tuesday, Oct. 16 with the Rockets in Burnside to face Southeast Webster-Grand in a first round contest.
