The A-D-M Tigers look to rebound after back-to-back losses as they take on the Perry Blue Jays this Friday night at A-D-M Stadium. The game will be the last home game of the regular season for A-D-M. The Tigers enter play 5-2 on the season and 3-1 in Class 3A, Distict 1. Perry enters the game 2-5 on the season and 1-4 in District play, the Blue Jays have been eliminated from post season play.

After a 5-0 start, A-D-M suffered gut wrenching losses to Atlantic 28-27 and last Friday nights 17-13 setback to the Newton Cardinals. The Tigers enter play tied for first place with Harlan & Creston, all three teams have one loss in District 1 action. Friday nights game against Perry looms as a must win for A-D-M if they are to keep pace for the District title.

“This is a big game,” said Head Coach Mike Whisner, “It’s a momentum game, we need to get back on the winning track. We need to come out and execute like we’ve been doing all year.”

Standout running back Jordan Grove who missed the 4th quarter of the Newton game due to a hip injury should return Friday night. Grove leads Class 3A in rushing with 1,524, rushing TD’s with 15, total yards from scrimmage, 1,848 & total TD’s with 22.

After Friday A-D-M travels to Harlan for the last regular season game of the season, a game that looms as a potential District championship game. You can hear this Friday’s game on “Real Country” K-107 part of the Raccoon Valley Radio Network, kickoff is set for 7:30.
