The Perry football team will play their final district game tonight when they travel to Adel to battle conference foe ADM.  The Tigers are fighting for a district championship while the Bluejays are looking to play the role of the spoiler.  Perry has had trouble scoring points the past couple of weeks, with the offense not registering any points over the last 8 quarters.  Head Coach Jason Olenjzack changed up his practice routine this week and implemented a faster tempo based on a highly successful college program.

“Everybody loves Oregon these days, so we did some reading and started to implement a faster pace in practice…where there is not a lot of stopping and teaching but rather continuous action and activity.  We still coach from the sideline but the tempo was jacked way up and the kids loved it..they really responded well.”

Perry enters 2-5 and 1-4 in the district while ADM enters 5-2 and 3-1 in the district.  Pregame coverage starts at 6:30 with play by play from Shawn Kenney beginning at 7:30 on local Radio 1310 KDLS.
