The Perry City Council will meet in regular session this evening.
Items on the agenda include the second reading of an ordinance vacating public property at South Street and 3rd Street due to sale, approval of a change order and pay request for the West 5th Street Improvements – followed by approval of a resolution approving final acceptance and completion of the project and consideration of a 28E agreement in regards to the shared firing range.
The council will also set a public hearing date for the Community Development Block Grant and consider a resolution in support of renaming Highway 141 between Perry and Granger as the George Soumas Memorial Highway.
The meeting takes place at 6pm in the Clarion Room of the Security Bank Building.
