The Perry football team will wrap up the regular season tonight when they travel to Des Moines to battle Saydel.  The Bluejays are coming off a near miss last Friday night at ADM.  Saydel has struggled mightily this year and enters the match-up winless in 8 tries.  Perry head coach Jason Olenjzack took time to look back at the season this past week and shared his thoughts.

“We are disappointed at the 2-6 record but for the most part are consistency in the effort department was there all season long.  Throw out the second half vs Creston and the second half with Atlantic and I was really happy with the effort and the physical nature the kids played with.  A win tonight could certainly give us a big boost heading into the offseason”

Perry and Saydel will kick off tonight at 7:30 and you can listen to the game on Local Radio AM 1310 KDLS beginning at 6:30 with Kurt Whiton and Perry basketball head coach Ned Menke.
