Although there is a chance of rain today, the overall weather forecast is much better for the Coed State Qualifying Meet at Lake Panorama near Panora than last Thursday when originally scheduled. The Class 2A event was postponed last week due to temperatures in the low 40’s, steady rain, and high winds. The predicted high for today is at least 70 degrees with a slight chance of afternoon thunderstorms.

Area teams at the Par Three course west of Panorama include Panorama, Greene County, South Central Calhoun (Lake City) and West Central Valley (Stuart), along with 12 other schools. The top 10 boys and 10 top girls qualify as individuals for the Coed State Meet on Oct. 27 north of Ft. Dodge at Kennedy Park. The top three boys teams and top three girls teams at Panora will also qualify for the state meet.
