The Perry Bluejays and Jayettes came up empty yesterday at the 3A state qualifying meet in Atlantic despite some very good times.  Atem Akook had a break out performance finishing 16th with a time of 18.14.  Senior Victor Trinidad finished 37th with a time of 18.58, Christian Morales 49th at 19.31 and Zach Roberts 54th at 19.37.

Perry finished 8th out of 13 teams with 223 points.

The Jayettes were led by MacKenzie Olson with a time of 17.55, Daisy Cerna 17:57 and Meredith Olson 18:02.
