Greene County 4-H’ers and volunteers will be recognized for their time, effort and achievement this weekend.
The extension office’s annual Greene County 4-H Awards Ceremony is scheduled Sunday in Clover Hall on the fairgounds.
Awards will be handed out for 4-H project achievement and volunteer milestones.
As a reminder to 4-H members, the online re-enrollment period ends Thursday November 15th. Those who sign up afterward will be subject to a $25 late fee.
Youth and families coordinator Sarah Jo Reynolds says this year is off to a great start in 4-H. She says there was a great turnout for the New Member Night recently and anyone interested in potentially join 4-H is encouraged to attend the award ceremony to see what other members are achieving.
The ceremony takes place at 4:30pm Sunday and a reception with refreshments will follow. The public is welcome to attend.
