The Jefferson-Scranton Community school board met in regular session last night.

Items on the agenda included reports from board committees, and principals along with updates on reading, professional development, and the whole grade sharing process.

The board also considered an allowable growth application, early graduation request and participation in the 2013 Iowa Drug and Alcohol Testing Program.

Technology needs, reorganization and early retirement policies were also discussed.
