The Perry Boys basketball team continues to gear up for their season opener next Tuesday when they travel to Woodward to face the Knights of the Woodward Academy.  Perry continues to look for the 5th starter in a bench that Head Coach Ned Menke describes as one of the deepest that he has had at Perry.

“This is a unique situation for me.  I have a lot of young inexperienced players that are all so even.  Usually, I have a good idea going into a season who my fifth starter will be but this year will be very difficult.  Lots of kids are fighting for that fifth spot and only time will tell.  Lots of players will get game experience as we sort it all out.”

The Bluejays were at the Adel Jamboree last night.  Right now, the 4 starters for Perry are Ben Daniels, Will Whiton, Sha-mon Ivory and Tory Brelsford.  The 5th spot is still up for grabs.
