The Perry Jayette basketball team held on for dear life Tuesday night as the Jayettes defeated Norwalk 49-46 to move to 2-0 on the season. Perry dominated the first half leading 34-15 at the break, but Norwalk owned the second half outscoring Perry 31-15. Sophomore Clair Marburger led the Jayette offense with 23 points, while Maggie Lowe (Low) finished with 11 points and 10 assists. Senior Frankie Eklund added 7 points and 11 rebounds. Julie Dew hit 2 of 10 from 3 point land. Perry is now 2-0 in non conference games and will return to the court next Friday night with the conference opener against Dallas Center Grimes.
