Guthrie Center area residents are invited to kick off the holiday season this Saturday.

The annual soup supper to light the park will begin at 5pm at the Guthrie Activity Center.  Dinner will be served until 7pm and the cost is a free will donation.

Community members are then welcome to drive through the city park in Guthrie Center to observe the lighted displays, which will be up through the month of December.

Mr. and Mrs. Claus will also be on hand to greet attendees and help get them into the holiday spirit.
