A team of Greene County High School students recently competed in a culinary contest and came out on top.

The team of Brandon Gustoff, Morgan Burkett, Ike Eischeid and Kyle Betty won the Iowa Central Community College culinary competition earlier this month.  The event was held in conjunction with the Food and Beverage Expo in Des Moines and sponsored by the culinary arts program at ICCC.  The students had 60 minutes to prepare four servings of a meal using only the secret ingredients provided by the competition.

Each student received a $300 scholarship, along with a knife set for the culinary department at Greene County High School.
