November 26 thru 28, 2012
11/26 At 8:21 am, a deputy checked the report of a hitchhiker near 220th and U Avenue
At 10:42 am, a deputy checked an unattended vehicle at N Avenue and 290th Street
At 12:00 pm, Adam M. Winger, 32, of Jefferson was booked into the county jail awaiting transport to the Oakdale Receiving facility after being sentenced to five years on a Theft 2nd degree conviction
At 2:30 pm, Jonathan L. Bevers, 30, no address claimed was booked into the county jail serving an OWI 1st sentence
At 6:15 pm, Laurel G. Tilley, 21, of DSM was booked into the county jail after turning herself in for booking on a charge of OWI 1st, charge filed by a deputy in connection with a personal injury crash on 10/21 in the 1200 Block of 220th Street, she was booked and released O/R
11/27 At 2:00 pm, a deputy spoke with person regarding a child custody matter in Grand Junction which was deemed a civil issue and they were advised to contact their attorney
At 2:02 pm, a deputy on patrol located a John Deere Gator near D Avenue and Crestwood in the timber that had been reported stolen on 10/10 from the 100 Block of 210th Street. The Gator was hung up and apparently has been there for some time since the theft
11/28 At 6:30 am, a deputy transported Adam M. Winger and Robert D. Olson to the Oakdale Receiving Center. Olson had been sentenced there after being held in the county jail since 08/24 on a Public Intoxication 2nd or Subsequent conviction that ordered a one year prison term
At 6:33 am, a deputy checked the report of horses out on Quaker Avenue south of 250th Street but they were not located
At 3:24 pm, a deputy checked the report of a traffic hazard near 220th and Pioneer where lime being spread in a field was blowing across the highway causing a visibility problem. The deputy found it was a hazard and spoke with the applicator who agreed to stop until the wind went down
At 3:48 pm, a deputy investigated a home burglary in the 2300 Block of X Avenue. After investigation it was found that nothing was taken and the person may have had consent to enter the home, it remains under investigation
At 4:18 pm, a deputy checked the report of goats on 130th Street east of Paton but they were not located
At 6:02 pm, a deputy checked an incomplete 911 call made from Paton and it was found to have been dialed by mistake
In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
