West Central Valley High School students who plan on furthering their education are encouraged to attend a financial aid presentation Monday evening.

The College Planning Center will present information to college-bound seniors and their parents in regards to the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, along with tips about deadlines, types of assistance available and scholarship scams.

To be considered for most federal, state and institutional student aid programs, including loans, students must complete and submit the FAFSA.  The FAFSA should be completed as soon after January 1st as possible.  Students should also check with the college they plan to attend and make sure to meet their priority deadline.
