John Wesselmann of Van Meter was traveling south in the 34000 block of 340th St., when he lost control trying to miss a deer, entered the ditch and struck a road sign and went through a fence. No injuries reported. Damage to the vehicle estimated at $4000.00, $250.00 to the road sign and $100.00 to the fence.

Matt David Conner, age 19 of 820 S 5th Ave., Winterset was arrested on a warrant for failure to stop at a personal injury accident.
Erick Alexis Recinos-Gomez, age 27 of 1205v ½ 2nd St., #4, Perry was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear-original charge of assault.
