The Perry girls basketball team will look to bounce back tonight when they host conference rival Carroll in 6:00 game at the Perry gym.   Perry dropped a heartbreaker to Dallas Center Grimes last Friday night in OT, getting outscored 7-0 in the extra session.

Com 5001 (audio)   The girls came up with three things that we really struggled with and why we lost the game, added Perry coach Mike Long.  “The biggest thing was that we panicked…we did not know how to finish it.  We have to learn how to do that.  Secondly, we need to shoot free throws better..4 of 10 down the stretch won’t cut it.  Finally, we need to stay disciplined.  When I call out a play, I want them to do that.  We did not Friday, especially in the fourth quarter and that cost us.”

The Jayetttes will look to defeat a Carroll team that is ready to content for  a conference title as well.
