The Guthrie Center Tigers have come out of the gate this season with a roar.  They have won their last 4 games, with their most recent victory coming from West Central Valley last Tuesday night 57-27.  Now they are looking to make it a commanding five on Friday night when they take on Woodward Academy.

Head coach Seth Poldberg talks a little bit about what he sees going into Friday’s game.

“They are always tough. They are always very athletic and its a tough match up for us.”

And with his three main seniors, Adam and Caleb Courtney along with Gavin McGivney stepping into leadership roles, coach Poldberg has a lot to be confidant about.

“All three of those guys, the twins and Gavin McGivney, have done a great job so far this season being our leaders as seniors and that’s what we’ve expected out of them.”

The Guthrie Center Tigers host the Woodward Academy War Eagles Friday night with tip off scheduled for 6:00 p.m.
